She is the co-pastor of the thriving, multi-racial,
multi-generational,
nondenominational
Fresh Anointing International Church in Montgomery, AL. Sister
Kemi, as her members and friends so affectionately call her, is
known and loved as a woman with a heart after God and a tremendous
love for His people. Her walk is
characterized by a passionate
desire to touch the heart of God through extravagant worship,
powerful prayer, and a passionate pursuit to lead others into a
deeper relationship with the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.
Sister Kemi is a native of Ghana, West
Africa, which adds an international flavor to her ministry to
people of all walks of life. After immigrating to the United
States, she realized her need for the saving grace of the Lord
Jesus. She surrendered her life to the Lord in 1988 in Atlanta,
GA while watching Christian television. From that time until
now, she has totally committed herself to seeking and serving God
through a lifestyle of consecration, prayer, and worship. Her
major messages include those involving bridal intimacy with Jesus
Christ and total deliverance from the bondages of Satan and sin.
She is currently writing a book on spiritual
warfare called Lord Teach My Hands to War, and
collaborating with her husband on a book about marriage called
Marriage
Matters: How to Find and Keep a Mate. She,
along with her husband, pastor Fresh Anointing International
Church, a church with over 1000 members and approximately 30
ministries committed to fulfilling the mandate of Christ to make
disciples of every people group possible. She has hosted various
women’s, couples’, and prayer retreats throughout the state of
Alabama that have helped many different people cultivate a greater
passion for Jesus, more fulfilled marriages, and more effectual
prayer lives. She has also hosted several conferences, one of
which includes Fragrant Oil-A Worship and
Intercession Conference for Women in which she hosted with
Floodgate recording artist, Rita Springer.
She has been married to the anointed pastor,
author, and teacher, Kyle Searcy, since 1991. They are the blessed
parents of four children, Biola, Funmi, Paul, and Christopher.
